The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambience of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. It’s like going back in the past!Wonderful place with a historical meaning. It was quiet,clean,great location within 10 min walk to downtown.The pool is not heated but the water temperature was pleasant for the 35 degree outdoor temperature!Breakfast was good,variety and served in a stunning large room.Best staff ever!respectdfull and helpful

Housed in a complex of 3 buildings, the rooms are equipped with balconies, cable TV, a refrigerator and bathrooms fitted with a shower. We enjoyed the stay. The staff was extremly helpfull. Everything was very clean. Nice outdoor playground for small kids - our kids loved it.

Carpeted floors and a private bathroom are featured in all units, which are decorated in yellow tones. The room was very large, clean and tidy, with a decent TV and a private bath with a shower, and views from the window. The breakfast was the highlight of my stay. It was served buffet style with fruit, cold cuts, bread, toast and jam, butter, French toast, cheesy scrambled eggs with ham, breakfast sausage, fresh ground coffee, juice, cereal, muesli and fresh milk. Property was well located, a few moments walk from the train depot and downtown.
