The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. The 200-years-old historic listed building gives the ambience of the 19th century. Some of the rooms have views of the Belső-tó. I felt like I traveled in a time machine and transported back to 19th century. The dining room is fantastic and looks like a museum. Very friendly staff, ready to give you all info on the sites to visit, excellent breakfast

Housed in a complex of 3 buildings, the rooms are equipped with balconies, cable TV, a refrigerator and bathrooms fitted with a shower. Lovely place, nice breakfast, we relaxed in the hot tub a lot. The location is great, really close to the lake. We liked our room and the staff was great. You can take bikes for free which is great (you only need to leave a deposit but it was like 20euros which was fine)

Breakfast is good with many options and good quality.
