The building is historic but my room was either new or rehabbed and it was fresh and clean and decorated really cute. There is a bar on premises which was nice and so convenient. Sean was a great host-very welcoming and friendly. Made me feel like a local which was great as a solo traveler. He had a breakfast room which was decked out with many different breakfast choices perfect for hikers or anyone.

There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The host was very welcoming and the facilities provided were excellent. I would recommend the place to other people.

We had a great conversation and it was perfect for our very first night in Ireland!

We had booked one night at the end of our trip and took the opportunity to just rest but there was so much more we could have done in the area. Bernie was an amazingly good hostess checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and providing a delicious breakfast.
