Bologna Centrale Station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Staying at the Dopa Hostel was one of the best experiences of my life. It felt like settling into a home with friends. The kind, generous and supportive staff made it feel like visiting friends. They gave great advice about where to go and what to do in Bologna and were eager to help with anything. It was impeccably clean, orderly, and cozy. We even had a fun special vegetarian dinner with wine where the solo travelling guests became friends. The rooms were cozy with big bunk beds with large wood frames and curtains that felt very private. Thr bathrooms with toilet and shower were spacious, clean and beautiful. Having a kitchen with all the spices and cooking equipment you could possibly need was a huge plus. Eating the included breakfast each morning was a great way to meet other travelers. I could not recommend the Dopa Hostel more. This is the best hostel I have ever been to right in the University district and a short walk from anything you could want to see in Bologna. A+ 100%
