While it is expensive, it is worth every yen, the rooms were beautiful, service impeccable, free amenities, free private sauna, and traditional breakfast brought straight to your room. It was perfect for a night after a hike down from Mitsumine shrine in the rain and thunder. HIGHLY recommend!! Thanks a lot

The host was super friendly, always happy to chat and answer questions about history and tradition and helped me find my way around Kawagoe, showed me all the must see spots, bars and restaurants. There’s also a little garden in the back and the bar area seems to be the local hang out spot in the evening which is super cool.

The best part was it reminded me of my home in Iwakuni. It was big, comfortable and cool. I would absolutely come back to Kawagoe and stay again. The baby area was perfect! They even set up a playpen for us.

The atmosphere was very welcoming from the beginning when I arrived at 10:45 pm on Friday. It was late but check in was till 11 pm and the staff was super accommodating and receptive of me entering. The staff includes kind, curious, and friendly people who are going to talk to you and get to know you. It was nice and warm!

The house was beautifully appointed, almost every need anticipated. The house was just behind a large shopping center, which was a plus.
