I booked it very last minute and was lucky to get a twin Japanese style room. We arrived on a snowy and foggy day. Woke up in the morning to amazing blue skies. All the meals were fantastic. We ate ramen for lunch here. The dinner was abundant and really tasty. The desserts were delicious. Breakfast was also fulfilling. We didn't take a bento lunch for the following day, but it looked great. The staff were all incredibly nice. The shower room really clean. The hot bath was also welcoming at the end of the day. We were also given a ride back to Murodo after breakfast in the morning.

The host was very kind and friendly—she recommended all the wonderful places I visited nearby. Thanks to her advice, I enjoyed a fantastic restaurant just 12 minutes away on foot, where a talented chef served exquisite dishes in a minimalist setting with a table overlooking a zen garden, all at a very reasonable price. On my way back, I followed her recommendation to stop at a cocktail bar 8 minutes from the house, walking along the illuminated riverside. The place was like stepping into a movie set—the interior design was a true work of art, with more than 80 bourbons and an extensive selection of cocktails. The next morning, following her guidance again, I had breakfast in a café walking only 6 minutes, a former fisherman’s warehouse beautifully renovated. They served excellent coffee, cakes, and sandwiches—the perfect spot to start the day or work with a laptop. In summary, my stay at Yanafu was wonderful. The 120 m² house is warm and cozy, and with the host’s thoughtful recommendations, I could enjoy unique and unforgettable places within walking distance. Ideal for families, groups, and also for romantic couples, thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I will definitely return often.
