The location, staff, and facilities were excellent. Alan, who managed the hotel, was incredibly helpful and friendly, and all staff did excellent service, and we felt right at home here. On the map the hotel looks out of the centre but actually is a really good location, only a nice safe 10 minute walk to old town. Lots of small shops and nice eating places a few minutes walk away. Importantly it's quiet and has great views which is relaxing as Guanajuato was very busy for holidays. We really recommend this place to stay... best accomodation we had in Mexico. I highly recommend Guanajuato and Quinta Mercedes.... it's better than San Miguel de Allende!
