Pierre and Manon who are running this property with a lot of LOVE are incredible people worthy of admiration! They bought a house with a good amount of land around it and have constructed several cabins, a yoga deck, a restaurant and a boat house over the last few years. Ataraxia has its own pier, so boatmen will easily take you there from Isla Colon. At the back of the property, there is a nature reserve, a jungle with so many treasures! We were able to spot the red frogs, caimans, a racoon, yellowtail birds, giant turquoise butterflies, turtles, giant ants, we rented a free kayak and paddled through the mangroves nearby, and we walked on several occasions to Old Bank, the main village on Isla Bastimentos, and once to Wizzard Beach. Manon also booked us a trip to Zapatilla (including sloth, dolphin and starfish spotting and snorkeling) and Pierre arranged our transportation to the airport. Several ideas for activities in the area conveniently presented in a booklet in the room (Zapatilla trip, Wizzard Beach hike, Red Frog & Polo Beach, bio-luminescence tour, etc.). Free kayaks and snorkeling gear available. If you are into botany and medicinal plants, you will have a lot to talk about with Pierre who planted so many of them around the property. Running a guesthouse in the middle of the jungle is a hard task, yet the couple somehow manage it and always keep smiling and interacting with guests at all times. Thank you very much, we will never forget our stay with you! You are a true inspiration! Be aware that: there is no hot water or AC and you cannot use a hairdrier, as the place runs on solar energy. There is wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily and are very spacious. Cold drinks available in the common fridge and option to have dinner. Tasty and creative breakfast included.

The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Le lodge est gérée par Brian et Daniel, chacun fait en sorte que notre séjour se passe le plus agréablement possible. Brian est venu nous chercher et nous a ramené en bateau. Le lodge est situé dans une jolie verdure entretenu et à la fois sauvage.Une belle piscine avec des parasols et des chaises longues.Une belle décoration alliant une modernité et une chaleureuse ambiance pour ce lodge. Le grand salon où l’on prend le petit déjeuner et le dîner avec une vue sur Old Bank qui est un village très coloré style créole est très agréable.Que dire de Daniel et sa passion de nous préparer chaque jour des repas d’une qualité exceptionnelle avec des produits frais , du petit déjeuner au dîner, le plaisir commence par les yeux avec sa présentation des plats mais surtout gustativement c’est très bon de la vraie cuisine.Brian a été très disponible pour nous renseigner sur les activités à faire ou nous organiser quand nous avions eu besoin de services, taxi ou autres. Le personnel d’entretien et de ménage est très respecté par Brian et Daniel , nous les avons vu très à l’aise. Notre chambre était bien équipée, des moustiquaires à chaque fenêtre, faire sa toilette face à la nature avec le bruit des oiseaux c’est très agréable, un coffre et le nécessaire de toilette sont à disposition dans les chambres. Merci à Brian et Daniel pour leurs gentillesse et leurs accueil.L’eau est disponible gratuitement à une fontaine.

Lots of storage space so you can unpack. Great kitchen. They are very attentive to your comfort. We had one of the air conditioners break down when it was determined that is could not be repaired they had it replaced right away. It is only really needed in the evening and night time for comfort and sleeping. During the day open the doors and windows and the breeze is great. A very comfortable home and a great place to unwind.

It is a calm place to stay at. The location is perfect, everything's nearby, and it's right in the middle of Old Bank. The deck is a great place to just relax, chill, read a book, listen to some music or watch the sunset. Even though the kitchen is small, it has most necessary things. When in need of a water taxi, please ask for Maya. He's nice, responsible, and very punctual. Finally, the star of our stay, and the cherry on top were the daily breakfast options offered by Kiosco&Pescador. Eunice was the kindest and her food was the most delicious.

If I could rate more then 10, I would to it. Nice location in the caribien jungle, on the island, awesome rooms and food. The owners are very nice and always help you if u need anything.

We loved the location in the bay and our view and access from terrace directly to the ocean. Water was calm, clean, warm and we swam and snorkeled every day. The staff was very friendly, bungalow spacious and clean with both inside and outside shower and two floor windows to watch the colorful fishes swim below our bungalow. Reasonable restaurant prices (15-20 USD for main course, 2-8 USD for drink), food very tasty (especially the grilled tuna :)). Water taxi costs 5 USD to the Bocas town. We made a great choice to book this hotel.

Le bâtiment est ultra-moderne, très bien agencé avec des volumes conséquents. Le personnel a été vraiment adorable. La cuisine de Bernardino est savoureuse et authentique. Terrasse et petite piscine privées, ça ne nous était jamais arrivé !
