At a 5 minutes walk through a garden area with a Japanese restaurant in a romantic setting, you arrive at Klong Prao beach where there are relaxing cocktail bars and restaurants, swim and watch the sunset. The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. I will summarize my impression of the hotel in one word; Wow! Upon first meeting the wonderful staff, I felt welcome. The interior, the exterior, the location and the food are also top quality. First of, Koi and her sister are awesome hosts, always smiling and interact with people. Best people I've met in Thailand. The rooms are very clean and quiet, food is great, and always got some surprises. The place on terrace is very confy and beautiful, a serene place to watch the turtle in the morning and the eagles on the sky. If you need, there are some perfect places to have some work on the laptop. Location on the pier is also great, as you can easily get some boats to travel on other islands. (I've been to Ko Kood and come back to Koi to stay some more nights, and definitively I'll come back again). 7Eleven is just around the corner. Thank you Koi for hospitality!

Boasting river and mountain views in the background, the lobby, terrace and indoor pool are located right along the river where guests can relax, have a drink or meet friends. During the stay, Watercolours provides a complimentary use of the canoes and kayaks to paddle up or down to the nearest beach - Khlong Prao Beach. I loved the resort the minute I walked in. The location is beautiful. It is a 5 minute kayak ride and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful long beach. The resort is on a river. It is so peaceful and near to town and many restaurants. The river was perfect to swim in with lovely views. Quiet deck with stunning views of the river. The room was amazing, big, well designed, private, and so comfortable. The resort was very peaceful, with the small gardens and nature surrounding the resort. The staff made me feel at home. They were so kind and genuine. The menu was limited as you would expect at a small resort. The quality of the food was excellent. It was OK for me.it was convenient if I wanted to eat the resort. There are many great local restaurants that you can walk to from the resort. A few of them were directly on the ocean. It was a great value for the price. It was so nice I changed my stay at another resort from two weeks to one week to spend another week at Water Colours. I rarely give a 10 for a review. I could not find one thing I did not like. When I visit Koh Chang, I will stay at Water Colours.
