The surrounding environment, nature paths, and situation to the black diamond trail and Taughannock Falls were ideal. The cottages were charming; inspired with stained glass and friendly gnomes. I wouldn't have been surprised to have caught a glimpse of the Seven Dwarfs. I also appreciated the community cottage with it's round fireplace and board games. Everything about it was so welcoming. It was a rejuvenating stay.

The property overlooks the lake - there is no lake access but there are nice trails that run to a creek and waterfall that makes for a nice hike. Rocky, the owner's chocolate lab, is such a sweet dog and we enjoyed having him around. We stayed in a room with a balcony that overlooks the lake, and it was nice in the evening to sit with a beer or wine and enjoy the view. The staff at the in-house restaurant was also very warm and attentive.
