Bungalows in Yodakandiya

Couldn’t recommend this property more, 11/10. Justin and his team were fantastic with arranging all we needed, welcoming us, and going above and beyond with requests. Justin arranged a private cooking lesson for me with his chef which I would highly recommend. It is a small collection of private villas so there is complete peace and calm. The villas were luxurious and roomy for a couple and would definitely be a great place to stay for a family vacation. The food was by far the best and most authentic we had in Sri Lanka and outranked all other hotel food. Fresh fruit was amazing. The safari arranged by Wild Lotus was a stunning private experience to be remembered forever, with a comfortable Land Rover for the ride. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, 10x better than any other hotel in the area!

- the staff: very friendly, approachable, and helpful. It felt like we were staying at friends. They always looked after our every need, prepared our breakfast at 5 in the morning before we went on a safari trip, and gave us coconuts and mango's free of charge while we were staying on the beach which is right in front of the house - the location: deep inside Kirinda, a perfect nature retreat with absolutely no outside world interference. A beautiful garden adorned with decorations. Acces to a wild, wide beach with the most amazing waves ever. - breakfast was very good. We ate the best mango ever, from one of the staff's personal little gardens. Bonus: they have a special custom - every guest can write something on their walls - we did too.

The room was very clean and big, with AC. Near to Yala national park. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

Good price get a private room with bathroom and fans. Close to the Dewaliya temple. Owner is a nice man who kept my luggage aside on check out day so I could travel a bit.

The Beach Bungalow is in a fantastic location on the beach and the staff are very helpful.
