The location was amazing and the experience - from the night sky to the Bedouin family was exactly what we wanted for ourselves and our 20 month old. Dinner was traditional Omani while breakfast was more western but delicious. Our son played a lot with their kids, who were charming, warm and friendly.

Although I arrived late and I missed the sunset but yet, from the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The camp’s serene desert surroundings added a unique charm to my stay. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. What truly stood out, though, was the team’s expertise in curating unforgettable desert experiences. I still remember the aroma of the zaatar ☕️ tea. Dinner and breakfast upon your request and the quantity was generously enough. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching desert getaway. If you want the desert experience then this is the place to be. What an amazing place and we had such a great time here. Upon arrival we got picked up by Faiz who is the owner of the camp. Super friendly and funny guy and so kind. Him and his staff (among others Idris and Ali) went above and beyond to make our desert experience an amazing one! Faiz brought us to see the camels and their babies which was really cool. We went dune bashing with Ali who we loved to call Ali Express because he went fast and gave us such an adventure! The views and sunset from the sand dunes were amazing. Our tent (the last one) had views for days! 😍 It was comfortable and we loved everything about it! The food, oh my, best meal we had in Oman. We loved EVERYTHING about this camp! And I’m so glad I booked this. The rave reviews don’t lie. It’s EVERYTHING! On the way back Faiz asked my husband if he would like to drive the car and my husband was so happy to be able to dune bash. Faiz, what a guy! I will totally recommend this place to everyone we know who wants to go to Oman. Because Oh man (see what I did there? 😆) this camp is absolutely THE BEST!!! Shukran!

I had an unforgettable stay at Layali Camp! Everything was perfect — from the warm hospitality to the stunning desert views. The traditional tent was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like family. The sunset view from the dunes was magical, and the camel ride was a truly unique experience. Breakfast was delicious, and having free private parking was very convenient. I highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic desert experience. I will definitely come back again!

    Experience of a lifetime Everything planned perfectly down to every detail. The accommodations were amazing and we really enjoyed the stargazing platform at the camp. Highly recommend the sunset camel ride and desert trek in the morning. Bedouin host was extraordinary he made our trip a memory of a lifetime.
