Stars Gate Camp is a recently renovated luxury tent in Al Wāşil, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Excellent location, on the top of a dune in the middle of the desert. Fantastic 360 degree view. 15 rooms, outside pool very nice, very good half board plan. Rooms are excellent equipped, with terrace overlooking the desert (the fact that you do not have TV it is rather an advantage). WiFi works very well. The manager (Mr Gautam Balram) is very friendly and helpful. From the activities, we would recommend "night safari and star watching" (ask for Faisal as your guide). Difficult to get there with your own car (do not attempt if you do not have a real 4 motion car and you are not an experienced driver). Aim for the sister camp (Arabian Oryx Camp), and ask the reception there to guide you for the last km, since google maps are not accurate. Parking is free. We would recommend to spend at least two nights there. One night it is not enough.

The tents have a toilet and shower and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time! The staff are fantastic and they also offer dune bashing and camel riding if you like, as well as a pick up and drop off at Biddyah for OMR 10. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a full immersion in the Bedouins' traditions, the Authentic Desert Camp hosted by Saeed is the best experience you could find in Oman desert ! From Omani hospitality to traditional dancing demonstrations, through a full tour of the desert, meet up with camels roaming around, we felt so comfortable with Saeed, who shared with passion all his knowledge with us. Authentic food was served as well, including traditional Omani dishes and fresh grills, including traditional bread cooking in the fire. It was an amazing experience, totally adapted for kids, group of friends and families!

Hosts are kind, humble and very helpful. Communication via WhatsApp was excellent. Location is perfect among the dunes. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. Wildlife was everywhere

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The luxury tent features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Staying at Desert Diamond Private camp was one of the best experiences I had in Oman. The camp is private and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious and varied — I especially enjoyed the camel meat at dinner. Breakfast on the soft desert sand was unforgettable. The room and bathroom were both beautifully decorated and very clean. The stargazing trip was a magical experience that added a special touch to the stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert escape.

Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Everything is perfect!! The tent is very spacious and clean! The whole camp site is far from other camps so we can enjoy star gazing without any light disturbance. The dinner and breakfast are both very delicious, we do not expect such high quality food in the middle of the desert, they even taste better than those we had in Muscat! Most importantly, the owner Rashid is super friendly, we totally feel the hospitality of Omani people!! We highly recommend you to choose this camp if you can coming to Bidiyah!!

Enough activities during night time by the fire (singing, tea, dancing). The tents were nice, spacious and clean, connected to electricity and with their own bathroom with running water. We took the sunrise tour before breakfast so we could see the sun rise in the dessert, and afterwards the driver took us through the sand dunes & to pet the camels. Breakfast was very nice and traditional. Highly recommend staying here!
