It’s a great property. To be honest, as a traveller who prefers to be alone, but I don’t think I would stay anywhere else in Kyoto. Also, the staff were operating with reduced numbers and I have to say they are some of the hardest working in Kyoto, they never seemed to have a day off. Thanks for everything.

The place is very new (opened May 2024, visited in June) so everything was clean. The capsules were functional and convenient. Enough showers and toilets, towels and toiletries (even combs!) are provided for free and you can take as many as you need. Fast Wi-Fi in the whole building. Very highly recommended!

All capsule hotels in Kyoto

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
