The staff is amazing — super friendly and always happy to help. The facilities are clean, modern, and quiet. The place has four floors: one for men, one for women, and one mixed. Each floor has bathrooms with very clean showers and changing areas. Every day they provide fresh towels, a toothbrush, and slippers. For women, there’s a full makeup room with lighted mirrors, hair curlers, hairdryers, and brushes. They even offer extras like cleansing oil, makeup remover, and face cream. The sleeping areas are very calm, and you get a good amount of personal space, with outlets to charge your devices and a small safe for valuables. There’s also space to store your luggage either under the bed or in a designated area in the hallway. The location is great too — just cross two streets and you’re near a temple and a lively tourist shopping area. It’s also close to a subway station that easily connects you to the city center. The staff’s English is pretty good, so communication isn’t a problem if you don’t speak Japanese. Also, after check-in (which is at 10:00 AM), you can leave your bags at the hotel for free until midnight.

My capsule was very clean and comfortable. It was super quiet and the bathroom facilities were super clean. I liked the fact that there was a place to lock my luggage and my valuables inside the capsule. The location is very convenient as it is like 1 minute walk from Kuramae station and several convenient stores and 24-hour restaurants nearby! Bonus point for the lounge where we can read mangas (even English versions are provided).

Great, clean and really modern hostel with coffee lounge. There offer for free facial products, a nightgown, slippers, ear plugs etc. There is a separate elevators and floors for female and male. In the capsule floor you have the storage spaces that can fit a large bag or backpack also few toilets are in this floor. In the separate floor you have showers, more toilets and laundry machine. The capsule it self is really spacious with an outlet and lamp. Great location, 5 min from the train/metro station. It’s in the Korean town, so lots of korean restaurants.

I'm happy I chose this place as my first experience staying in a capsule hotel. The capsules had air-conditioning and a comfy bed, you were given pajamas, and the selection of free food and drinks was unbelievable. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the highlight of my stay was the onsen. After a whole day of walking and exploring the city, there was no better feeling than to relax in the onsen and the sauna.

The location was first of all perfect, the staff was friendly but most of all you get so much value. Free appliances, including chargers, your bed has all you need and more. You even get free food and drinks, for this price I will certainly go again. My suitcase did not fit in the locker so they gave me an even bigger locker for free, this is no complaint at all.

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. It is budget friendly, but the baths and toilets were clean. The sleeping space was enough considering a capsule hotel and the fellow room mates were really considerate and well behaved making the stay really good. The staff were friendly and able to communicate in English adequately.

1. Convenient (within 5 minutes from Suehirocho and Akihabara stations) 2. Decent amenities (in-room and in-hotel), with some freebies (e.g. unlimited free drinks in the lounge) 3. Room area, compared to some other capsule hotels, is quite well-lit and ventilated, and doesn't have any musty smell. 4. Cheap breakfast (500 JPY only)

Conveniently placed, women-only capsule hotel near Akiba station. The capsules are good if a bit too warm, but there’s lots of bathrooms dotted around the building and a downstairs lounge for eating. No microwave, but there’s boiling water and vending machines. The downstairs shower room has laundry machines (both washer and dryer) and pyjamas are included as part of the linen. Everything gets changed every day (you can’t opt out) and they clean the place from 10-4 so you can’t hang out during the day.

1. No daily check out when staying more than one night = can stay and leave belongings in the capsule 2. Clean and modern facilities 3. Private shower rooms (some Japanese capsule hotels only have public bath that everyone goes in naked) 4. Bathrooms and lockers are conveniently located on the same floor near all the capsules (some capsule hotels have them on separate floors) 5. Friendly fellow foreign travelers 6. Near a train station (but a small one so not that may train lines pass)
