What a gem this hotel was! We really enjoyed staying at the lodge and wish we had stayed for more than a night.

food from the restaurant, breakfast and evening meal was great, enjoyed the cocktails at sunset before dinner. The swimming pool and the dipping pool in the river were fantastic. The on site trails (including one down to beach) were really good.

Loved the facilities, very clean and well maintained. Has everything you need. Great bathroom situation, and the kitchen comes fully equipped. Really nice patio in the evenings (Pinto is a highlight). Trails right in the backyard if you have free time to use, and we saw very cool birds in the morning. Would give this 11 out of 10 if I could.

Super location. The ideal base for planning trips. Chris and Kirsten are a great help as they have checked ALL the various trips you can make in the area and 'curated' the best ones, which made our planning so much easier. Also, the location by the river is fantastic for a relaxing rest when you get back plus the chance to see lots of amazing animals and birds. Breakfast was great too. Overall, thoroughly recommended! We would definitely go back.

The pictures don’t do it justice - the view from my room and the social areas at the front of the property were amazing! So tranquil and a really clever design to allow the air to flow through the property.

We loved Sara's place! The apartment was clean and the Aircon worked well! The best thing was the garden and pool were amazing to relax in. The pool was really clean and we really enjoyed swimming in it as the weather is very hot in Uvita. Sara and her husband were so lovely and gave us a lift a couple of times including to the bus stop when we left with our bags which would have been a very sweaty walk! The area was great, a short distance to restaurants and the whale tour agencies and only 5 minutes to the beautiful beach.
