We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.

The owners live on site and are extremely friendly and very helpful. It is a very quiet location and the room was well equipped and very clean.

We had the most wonderful stay here! You can really see that Dominique has put his soul in building this place. Everything is and feels right! Also the location is perfect, you can reach all places of interest in the area of Sarlat in 15 - 20 minutes max.

Very nice little camping, nice hosts, easy communication. Great location in the Périgord region, for all the prehistoric sites. The cabin was spacious, mattresses good, it was a rainy and cold April day, but when we started the radiators the room was heated in no time. Bathroom small but sufficient. Everything very clean. Coffee machine with 3 complimentary capsules (thoughtful that 2 were for coffee, 1 for hot chocolate, as we were travelling with our 8-year old son). The pool was well kept and functioning, which was great as we arrived at 5 pm on a rainy day. The breakfast was plentiful, coffee good. Also, the owners provide a lot of information about the area. Really, the only regret was that we were there just for a night.

We had a really wonderful stay. The location and sit are beautiful, the hosts are wonderful and friendly. The facilities are clean and abundant. The chalets are also clean and practical. Excellent stay, we will be back.
