We were working a lot and needed a break and omg, it was amazing! The bed is so comfy! The place is so quiet. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We arrived early, so we left our bags there and went for a walk. The location is great! A lot of buses to go to the city centre, we got a day ticket, so we went around easily. It was a perfect get away! We will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Very nice and friendly owners. Perfect bekfast. The room was big and all the necessary cutlery was there. Also fridge and teapot. Parking place is available if necessary. On the opposite side of the house is a big and beautiful park for walks, 15 min on foot to tesco, pubs, costa and other shops. There goes bus 47 from city centre, so no problems to get there.

Myself and my boyfriend came to the Pentland Shepherd Huts to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best time! The hut was extremely clean and comfortable, absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend. It is an amazing location as it didn't take us too long to get into Edinburgh but we also weren't too far from lovely little towns such as Peebles. Lyn was great with communicating and we even got to meet their pygmy goats and shetland ponies, definitely a highlight of the trip! The hot tub was also heated for our arrival which was a great way to settle into our weekend. Would definitely recommend to other couples or friends who want a cosy weekend away!

The Lodge is a super stop over location. It is a super mix of golf club, hotel, bar and mini restaurant. It isn't a hotel - it is much more homely and comfortable. The staff are all very helpful and accommodating. We had a super wee bar supper from the bar menu, which was as advertised and reasonably priced. All in all, this location is a 'keeper' and we will be using it again to break our trips South at Edinburgh.
