Our stay was perfect, it was an overnight break away from our city life and I did not disappoint it was so peaceful. The cabin was great, it had everything we needed and it was really cosy. Location is beautiful and an ideal place to take yourself on a long walk come rain or shine. Check in and check out was really easy and hassle free. We normally opt for a Premier Inn Hotel on our travels but decided to try something different. We were very pleased with The Lodge. It was exactly as described if not better. With a lovely warm & friendly welcome from our hosts. The Lodge was exceptional clean and well presented, with quirky decor and very comfy bed. We were booked in for one night as we had originally planned to move North, but decided to book an extra night as we were lucky to find such a gem, plus the location was easy to have a day trip out and explore. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage, cozy room and perfect space for a weekend. The cottage is located near the Breacon Beacons National Park. It has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. We had a very comfortable stay, and a warm welcome from the host. I highly recommend a visit.

If you want to get away from it all with fantastic views fresh air and peace this is the place for you, when you get to the gate its nearly a mile up a track up the mountain to the farm house and cottage, the views just driving up are lovely. At the property there is a dedicated parking space for guests. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and warm (we visited in November) with all you need inside, when we arrived there was a loaf of bread and milk waiting for us. Carys and Kerry are such lovely people and hosts if you need anything or information they will assist, but also leave you to enjoy your stay, they will introduce you to their pygmy goats and a few other animals they are all very friendly. The cottage is well situated for travel, within a short while you are in the Brecon Beacons, or in the other direction the M4 and also the town of Bridgend for shopping only a few minuets away.

Cosy Log Cabin in Llanfoist village, a property with a garden, is located in Abergavenny, 48 km from Motorpoint Arena Cardiff, 48 km from Cardiff University, as well as 49 km from Cardiff Castle.
