The domain is huge and the castle is magnificent. In November, it was really nice with autumn colors and Christmas decoration inside the castle. Lovely place to take a drink next to the typical fire. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the castle.

Easy to get the keys from the lock box. Down a private lane so quiet. We checked in late so didn’t get to use the cabin for long but really clean and tidy. Would be great for a group of friends for a weekend away. Town had couple bars, shops and a Chinese. Seemed lively. Free parking outside.

We couldn't have been more comfortable in this beautiful spacious, cosy home. Barbara our host was so welcoming and full of advice on places to visit in the area. Our fridge was full with the essentials for our breakfast 🥞🍳 🥓 🍅 🍞 milk etc, and the kitchen was well stocked with every utensil, dish, pan etc. The Courtyard Cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lovely fields and meadows in view beyond which made for a very peaceful and relaxing break. We will be returning in the not too distant future. 😊

The host, Marsha, was extremely welcoming and friendly. The pod was clean, cosy, and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic. Plus, the scenery around the area was out of this world. Everything was perfect, will definitely return!
