Very quiet and incredibly beautiful place. The hotel territory is a huge garden with paved paths and only 11 bungalow rooms. Everything is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. There’s a nice restaurant opened for breakfast and dinner. During the day the hotel can organize a horseback riding or an ATV experience. A definite recommendation!

(92 ft.) wildlife observation tower, The Nest. Arenal Lake is an excellent site to practice sports fishing. There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. Beautiful lodge with amazing views of the Volcano and lake. Lots of hiking trails and birds. Rooms were good and the resort is well maintained.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Yarumo Lodge, Río Celeste Black Chalets provides accommodation with patio, around 16 km from Rio Celeste Waterfall. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The chalet features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We had a great stay! The place was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed—pan, pot, sharp knives (and a sharpener!), microwave, and even a washing machine with space to hang clothes outside. The hosts were super attentive, took out the trash, and even offered to clean during our stay. We also got a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The setup is perfect for four people, with two beds, two sofas, two TVs, and outdoor seating with a table, benches, and an umbrella. Parking on-site was a plus.

Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

They are exceptional hosts who make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. It's clear how much effort, love, and passion they pour into everything they do. They take the time to genuinely connect with their guests and go above and beyond to cater to individual needs. The meals are a highlight—delicious, healthy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients sourced directly from their garden. Every bite feels homemade and thoughtfully prepared. The lodge itself is a stunning blend of a forest and a botanical garden, teeming with wildlife, especially birds. It's a nature lover's dream. I highly recommend the night tour with Jay—it’s an unforgettable experience. Nohelia is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Costa Rica as a whole, always ready to offer helpful tips and advice. One thing to note: the lodge is accessible only with a 4WD vehicle, as the last 3 kilometers of the road are quite rough. However, the journey is absolutely worth it. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Ecolodge Cecropia. If I could, I’d rate it 200%. Nohelia and Jay are truly wonderful hosts, and they’ve created a magical place that’s not to be missed.
