La FInca Lodge is a perfect place to calm down and relax on the countryside. The rooms are huge and have a big bathroom and a nice hammock to forget about your everyday life. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and had many recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was delicious and served on a nice outdoor terrace. The property of the finca itself is huge, there is a lot to explore. A highlight outside the finca were the blue falls, which were recommended to us by one of the staff members.

The only sound you have is the wild life of nature . Staff was really helpful , the night tour was really interesting .

There are also 11 km of walking trails throughout the property, or guests can just relax in the hot tub or have a massage in the spa. The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

All accommodations feature garden and volcano views. We absolutely loved this place! The bed was comfortable. The location is great, close to coffee tours, shops, and La Fortuna waterfall. They have a restaurant on site which is very affordable and they provide delicious food, smoothies and cocktails. We saw many wild animals while we were eating because they put food for them near the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious as well. They offer fruits, coffee/tea, fresh juice, and 3 different options for breakfast (traditional/eggs & toast/ pancakes). The staff was very friendly as well. There is also a butterfly house guests can visit for free.
