If you are interested in activities, there are mountains to hike, beaches and coral reefs to discover. If you’re interested in training, there are experts in MMA, Yoga, Massage and Ecology to learn from too. It's also perfect just if you want to relax, and the pool was amazing for that. We think this is what makes the space so special. The daily lunches, weekly bonfires and communal spaces became an intriguing place where people of different backgrounds, interests and situations came together and found common ground. We wanted a bit of everything from our stay. So we chilled, took part in activities and socialised. As a result, we felt like we experienced everything Alaya had to offer. The place has left a special place in our heart. As Michael the owner told us, Pemuteran is a land of return and renewal and we are already planning a trip back.

From the magical surroundings to the fresh pineapple from Dewi's garden and the outdoor shower, but still intimate... everything was perfect. Everything from the view, the kindness of the hosts, to the exceptional level of cleanliness at the villa. This was my favorite place that I stayed during my three weeks traveling through Bali. The hosts work tirelessly from before sunrise to well after sundown to make the stay at this villa extraordinary. The daily cleaning of the villa and patio area was immaculate. The shower had the perfect hot water, the bedding was crisp and clean white linens, and the view was extraordinary!

This is one of my top 5 guest houses anywhere in the world (I have been to over 140 countries) when I arrived my breath was taken away the setting is breathtaking. The huts are incredible comfortable, clean and wait until you see the bathroom WOW!!!! But what really sets this place apart is the kind family. Grandma what an incredible women she made my stay so much fun I really really can say it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Always smiling always caring and always there when you need something. Grandma took me on an incredible walk in the village to meet all her family and friends and they were so friendly as are all of the village. She is also taking me to a ceremony tomorrow on the rice field Secondly made always smiling and always helpful and so nice to chat to. Also Kiki who liaises on bookings he is so responsive and forever helpful (grandmas son) what a talent to turn the farm into a wonderful homestay. Finally the driver madie great to driver around with and we went on some nice adventures. Dont hesitate to book if you want to see the real Bali and have a peaceful and restful time.
