The area is quiet, about a ten minute drive from Vík, but still perfectly situated because you're out in the country but not isolated. There were also other guests in the other cottages, but it was like we were there by ourselves. Added bonus: we could see the Northern Lights just over the mountain behind the cottages. It was an amazing place to stay!
