The room was just like the pictures, and the surrounding forest and river are magical. We even encountered some monkeys on the property which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was filling and delicious, a combination of traditional Sri Lankan sweets and breakfast foods with fruit. The owner and workers are incredibly courteous, offered some good safari deals, and even showed us some of the cinnamon, curry leaves, and pepper plant which are all on their property. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the area! Extremely reasonable price.

We were a family of five with adult children and had the whole villa for ourselves, and the experience was amazing! The villa is newly built and everything felt brand new but yet very familiar with Ishan heading a super attentive and nice staff. The views are breathtaking over the surrounding mountains, with a small river pond on the property to take a refreshing dip into (together with the small fish givning you a interesting fish spa experience). We just felt blessed staying in this tranquille environment, enjoying excellent food and just hanging out together. It was definitely more than worth the bumpy ride up to this place. Big thanks to Ishan with staff that made this an extraordinary experience.

Le jardin était un véritable paradis, superbement entretenu, et nous avons adoré observer les nombreux oiseaux et animaux, notamment lorsqu'on nous a donné des bananes pour les nourrir. Les repas étaient un délice, servis dans un cadre romantique et décoré avec goût. Le personnel était adorable et s'est même démené pour nous trouver un taxi à un prix très intéressant. Et la musique... juste parfaite! Ils ont vraiment su créer une ambiance qui nous plaisait.

Michael is a person with a kind heart. It was great to meet him and to know a bit more about his life and the place. He made all the decoration himself and everything is very original. The place had everything we needed, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Also very affordable. Michael can propose you some affordable safari tours if you ask him. Thank you for your hospitality
