We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens/teenagers), we booked 2 of the pendant domes. They picked us up in Ollantaytambo, and took us on a quad ride to their reception (the kids said quad ride was a blast!). We were welcomed with soft blanket and tea by the heater. We needed to have at least 1 adult in each pod; the boys were with my husband, and they had to wear harness to climb to their pod. The jacuzzi was amazing, and when we woke up in the morning - the view....You have to see it for yourself. Everyone should experience it at least once in a lifetime.

About 10 years ago, I watched a documentary introducing the birth of this daydreaming-like project and was drawn to it. Although I felt like I was prepared for the climb up to the cell, it was far more difficult than I expected. Some sections turned out to be rock climbing, not hiking. However, the professional support and gentleness from the guides made the climb possible for me. I feel so grateful for their kindness and hard work. Will come back one day with stronger limbs;)

The family are beautiful, and very wise. They have a sacred connection with the land and kindly share teachings of the history and traditional practices, music and pottery. The facilities are perfect for the price. A comfortable bed hot shower and kitchen with nice steel cooking pots. Fancy staying in tranquility in the mountains with a shop selling all organic groceries just a few minutes away. This is the place to come!

Situated in Urubamba, 600 metres from Sir Torrechayoc Church, Kutimuy Lodge features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna and a hot tub. The accommodation offers room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. The Lodge is highly recommendable. The area is super safe and close to the center of Urubamba. The Family Bungalows are very spacious and super clean. We saw that the team cleaned everything (including curtains and windows) after each departure. They cleaned it also from the „former“ energy. Breakfast was served direkt to your bungalow at the time you want - just tell them per WhatsApp or personally. The service is outstanding. Luis and Anna helped us more than we ever expected. I had a medical issue because of the altitude and Luis drove us to the medical center - stayed and translated for us! Just amazing! Anna and Luis are the souls and the owners of the Kutimuy Lodge - Thank you for all you did - from our hearts! Go there - enjoy the Lodge and never ask if the price is to high! It is not! Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with mountain or river views. My stay at Starlodge was one of the most magnificent and memorable experiences. The food was amazing, adding a delightful touch to the exceptional stay. Our host Bryan provided excellent hospitality, making our stay truly exceptional. His warm and attentive service added a personal touch, ensuring we felt welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. Bryan's dedication greatly contributed to the overall positive experience.

It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.

It's location is a little tricky, but once you're there, everything is perfect! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious, big bathroom with constant hot water supply, and even the breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this lovely place. I'm definitely coming back!

Our lodge is within walking distance of the traditional village of Urquillos, a tiny settlement in which countless traditions are kept alive year-round by a lively and proud local community. Beautiful property and great staff. We didn’t like much the food choices except at breakfast.
