It's close enough to Pello for some groceries and the Tesla supercharger, but far enough to feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. The pictures don't do these cute cabins justice, the beds are amazing. We immediately looked to book in winter because that must be even more magical, but it made sense that it was all booked out. :)

The hosts were super nice and the cabin was well appointed. Surroundings were peaceful and the cabin is not far from Kiruna.

I stayed at the Överkalix Kalixälven Lodge in Jockfall for one night and was very satisfied with the experience. The house is a typical Swedish-style home — charming and well maintained, with a clean and cozy interior. The fully equipped kitchen and washing machine were very convenient, even for a short stay. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning, and the outdoor amenities like the terrace, balcony, and garden really added to the charm. I appreciated the peaceful setting and the easy access to outdoor activities. The check-in was smooth, the WiFi worked perfectly, and the free parking was a big plus. I only wish I could have stayed longer — highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of northern Sweden!

L’hébergement Northernlight cabin 2 se trouve à Kiruna, à seulement 22 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Gare centrale de Kiruna. Cosy cabin situated on the edge of the lake, it was clean, modern and exactly just the right distance from Kiruna centre, around 15mins drive. The bed was amazing, on a raised platform with a panoramic view of the Northern Lights before sleep. Communication was great throughout.
