Situé à Trout Lake, l’établissement Historic Birch Lodge and Motel comprend une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, la climatisation et un jardin. We were offered a room in the main house, although we had apparently booked into the motel section, at no extra cost. The new room was beautiful, charmingly decorated, and it had a view over the lake. It was actually possible to get a healthy breakfast from the food on offer.

We came all the way from Germany and had a really great stay. The rooms were big, had a fireplace and a cozy sitting area. What made the stay even better was the super kind lady at the front desk who explained everything at the hotel, offered us cookies and DVDs. Yes! The rooms have DVD players and the front desk has a HUGE variety of movies. It was like going back in time.. in a very positive way. Rooms were clean, bathroom was great and the location right at the beach stunning. We will be back!

This place is gorgeous, comfy and met every need! Has me wanting to come back in the summer! So awesome too because it appears you would be able to rent both chalets if more space was needed! Our daughters felt like royalty up in the loft which is very spacious and of course fun with the circular stairway! Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful home away from home! We came for skiing at Caberfae which was only a 15 minute drive from here!

Great location off the highway and near Douglas and a few minutes away from Holland, nicely built cabin with functional appliances and comfy bedrooms, definitely a great place for families to stay at in lieu of a hotel that would have costed 200+ a night that would not have the same amenities.
