We loved the location of this hotel. It was right next to a little stream which added to the relaxing environment. Also, the restaurant on site was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the price! Our balcony looking at the mountains was also a great addition and the staff was fantastic!

The room was excellent, plenty of space and cleaned, beds made and sheets and towels changed daily. Good coffee machine with coffee pods and mineral water replenished daily. Mini bar in room with soft drinks, beers and snacks for purchase. Food in restaurant is freshly prepared and always plenty of choices to suit all tastes for breakfast and dinner. Desserts were particularly good. Staff in reception, bar and restaurant were all friendly and happy to help with any queries. Reasonably priced bar menu and good service.

Normally, Booking.com does me a dirty when booking places. I booked one night here and ended up staying for five. Upon my arrival I was met by staff and offered bag carrying. There is free parking out front ( snow brush and ice scraper available) or for 11 euros per night there is a garage. I had two dogs with me who slept in the vehicle, this was not an issue as all rooms are not road facing, if they had barked it would not have disturbed anyone. Just a two minute walk up the road is a trail to the river and park. Elleven minutes drive is Ordino Arcalis ski resort ( also free parking). My room had a heated floor, verypowerful shower that maintained a constant temperature always, big double bed, large TV with all apps, USB and plug sockets each side of the bed. Room has a fridge. The hotel's wifi is fast with a strong connection. Plenty of very nice towels, robes also at no additional charge ( makes a nice change). The room has a thermostat which has very little lag on bringing the temperature up or down, impressive in a large room. The cleaner is exceptionally thorough and the room was turned out beautifully every day even down to mopping the floors. The staff are totally on point, super helpful and accommodating. They arranged the veterinary appointment for my dogs travel back to UK at no extra charge also. My medical conditions ( allergies) were taken into consideration and my room allocated away from the restaurant ( note I did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment outside of breakfast). My room had a lovelly balcony with views down the valley and of the river cascading down the rocks. The Spa: I used this twice. Once it was busy and quite noisy and another time I had the place to myself which was Bliss. The Spa was an additional fee for 90minute session. The hot stone beds being my favourite. I spent an hour on one ( there are four) listening to audio books.

Exceptionally clean in a great location. Tomas at reception was so helpful and caring. We’d had a terrible experience with a broken down hire car in the Pyrenees and had to wait for a taxi to take the final 167klm leg. Tomas upgraded us to a spa suite. It was exceptional.

    I was there for a hybrid of work and skiing. The ski resort is not very big but had decent long runs, and it was super easy to get from the gondola in the middle of the town. Went hiking around, there are some easily marked trails. I also liked the comics museum.

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships...

    We stayed in La Massana for the mountain bike championships for ease of access to the cable cars and event. There were plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. I would recommend Grupetta cafe and Babek restaurant. The views all around are stunning!!

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want...

    La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want to be outside of ALV (whch is only a 15 minute drive). It's got a good selection of restaurants and shops, and it's easy to get around to see the rest of the country from there. We were there in the fall, before ski season started, so enjoyed lots of color and little traffic.

    Good central location handy for access to other towns...

    Good central location handy for access to other towns valleys as well as activities. Good range of eating places, regular transport service many walking trails also too surrounding villages. During day not the most tranquil of places but that may be part of it's fascination it is almost like being in London but in the heart of the mountains.

    La Massana is a quiet ski resort in comparison to others I have been to over the years. If you want good skiing, good food, and a relaxed atmosphere then this is definitely the location for you. If you want high energy Apres Ski though, then not so much. It may just be as a result of covid but I don't think so, this just seems like a more laid back resort, more focused on family than partying.

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars...

    La Massana is a lovely town with lots of restaurants,bars and cafes. The telecabine gets you up to the Pal ski area in 6 mins and this links to the Arinsal ski area via a cable car. The Vallnord team are really excellent from the lift operators to the mountain restaurant staff and the ski school instructors, all were friendly and extremely courteous.

    Second visit to this hotel as we enjoyed it so much the first time. This trip was sadly marred by a large group of families who had zero control over their children and left them unsupervised running riot round the hotel. The hotel staff did their best to deal with the situation. However, most of the adults had no respect and did nothing.
