Very nice and cozy family run accomodation. Everything that needed was provided. There is an optional breakfast- very good 👍 there is a terrace available for all guests with an amazing view! Safe parking is available for free. Would be very happy to come back.

Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Larger room than usual. One minute from the local port. There's a nice balcony. Big supermarket 3 minutes away. Private parking, nice hosts. Altmünster is a great starting point to explore the area.

    The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

    The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent! The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable. and the bathroom was great- excellent shower pressure! We had access to an elevator which helped with the bags and we had a fantastic view of the area on the top floor along with a balcony. I had a minor issue with the reservation on booking.com and the manager/ owner was very accommodating and helped me resolve it. I would highly recommend this property. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

    Altmünster is nice village next to lake Traunsee with all...

    Altmünster is nice village next to lake Traunsee with all its beauty that an Alpine settlement can have. Narrow streets, charming country houses with marvelous gardens, no crowd and fresh air. You can take a (steep) ride on to Gmundnerberg (the mountain backing the village) on foot, by bike or by car. Gmunden the neighboring city is a the treasure of the area, good cafes, breweries, restaurants and lakeside promenade with fountain, from where you can get to Grunberg hill with a cable car (lift) to the top and take some refreshing walks from 30min to 3 hrs. We really enjoyed being there and look forward to revisiting it soon.

    Great location, short trip to everything.

    Great location, short trip to everything. Awesome staff, they'll help you with anything. Cooled drink room where you could pick your drinks (wine,water,beer) only negative was the trafic sound into rooms. Highly recommend it.

    Altmunster is a strange town, which can be classified as an...

    Altmunster is a strange town, which can be classified as an unknown spot. It is very close to Gmunden in which you can find people from all over the world, but in 2 km far one can see 85 cars with local registration, 10 with german and 5 all the rest from 100 cars. It has not as many attractivities for the tourists and that's why the restaurants are 10-15 % cheaper than in Gmunden with the same or higher quality.

    Great apartment, huge enough for the whole family. Fully equiped kitchen and beautifull view over the Traunsee. We found the apartment and keys very easy. Comunication with the host was always quick and proactive. Walking distance to the public swimming area. Very good place to explore beauty of Salzkammergut region. We really recommend TraunseeBlick for family holiday or even for the weekend!!

    Everything about this property was brilliant, from the easy check in to the little touches like water and wine on arrival. Such a spacious apartment with absolutely every mod con to make a perfect family holiday even more enjoyable. We only wished we had booked for longer but will definitely be coming back on our return to Altmunster.

    We stood in this apartment four nights. The place has everything needed. The views from the balcony are stunning. Some shops and restaurants close by and transport as well. Altmunster itself is a great place to be located, especially who likes a quiet environment.
