Lovely room with great views, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast. Good location for travel to Slovenia. Walk down to the lake was nice as was the cafe at the beach area. Dinner at local Gastehaus Trink, very pleasant. Hotel Pension Melcher is spotlessly clean and tidy. Thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful place to stop over on my travels through Europe by motorcycle. The room was huge and super comfortable, the facilities were excellent and staff all lovely. I had dinner in the restaurant too and it was fantastic. Breakfast was exceptional - the best spread I've ever had whilst on my European road trips. There are also communal areas with books and games, which is a bonus.

Beautiful and calm location, all rooms facing the lake. The meals were amazing, every evening something different, something special for dinner in beautiful creations, breakfast had also various delights. The sauna area is great, with lots of comfortable beds for relaxation, the sauna at the lake is especially enjoyable when the sun is setting. Staff is super nice!

Built in a modern concept , wooden interior & large windows which allows more brightness to enter the place during the day and allows a better sighting of the stunning view of the surrounding nature which you can never get tired of.     Very friendly and helpful stuff, nice breakfast with tasty sweets. Wonderful view from the balcony. The hotel is located on the hill, so you will have a small work out on you way back in the evening. But that's not necessary a bad thing after a schnitzel 😁
