The mine is interesting - but most enjoyable for German language. The town is really nice - here more time you can count just for walking down on old streets. We did not have too good weather for Leopoldsteiner see - in a better time this can be also a good program. The best part however was the walk we made next to the ski jump area - the real beautiful Austrian landscape with nice view, small farmhouses, good hiking trails - best for cycling and also for walking. The location is very nice if you do not like the busy places. Very hard to find people that are speaking English. You can do a lot of activities: swimming, hiking, climbing, cross country ski. I do not fully understand the trail rules for the cross-country sky. Some tourists had access to the trails other no, the lady from JUFA hotel front desk could not explain because she does not speak English/ we do not speak German. But for a location as much advertised for cross country ski the hotel could provide the rules in couple of foreign languages. We felt a bit discriminated.Guest review byAlinaRomania - 10.0

Need a car, otherwise a taxi. Too far to walk from Eisernerz. Ideal for hiking, can't comment on winter skiing. Staff were helpful, courtious, polite and alive. Apartment was equipped with a microwave, stove and all the needed kitchenware, even a toster. It's important because there's not much options for dinning in Eisenerz. It's really a self-catering accommodation. The localization is splendid if you like outdoors, a lot of hiking trials nearby, a beautiful lake (you can rent an electric boat), via ferratas, rafting, a cave (Frauenmauerhöhle). Cut in a half Erzberg mountain is a unique and beautiful sight.Guest review byTomaszPoland
