It felt like a nice gentle touch of Provence by Danube. We've been served true home made breakfast, grape marmelade was excellent. We were lucky to stay during wine tasting weekend in some of the Wachau valley, then the evening with bottle of local wine in front of our rooms was charming. Great place to stay. Be ready for surprises - rooms are like from previous century, but it is advantage you should enjoy and feel the breath of history. This is not a typical hotel - if you want modern interior and comfort, don't go there. My dream was to spend time in real monks chamber and I got it. Atmosphere is fantastic and personnel is great and friendly.
