Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights.
Convenient location to reach the region´s highlights. Very nice tour in the Nockberge mountains. Nice walk around Weissensee from Techendorf direction west and back. There is a possibility to rent a boat or take a roundtrip on a ship. When being in a mood of getting really high, then take the Ankogel cable way from Mallnitz and walk around there (warm clothes and solid shoes strongly recommended). Or a skywalk in Malta (Kölbrein) or an observation tower Pyramidenkögel in Keutschach. You definitely get a lot more information about points of interests from the tourist prospects in every accomodation facility. The city of Gmünd hass just the same traditional (atmosphere as many other Austrian towns, nothing special in or view. It is pretty small but cosy, you can walk it through in half a day maximum. What we found practical was the opening hours of Billa supermarket even on Sundays, which is not usual.Guest review byVladimírCzech Republic

Very clean hotel with friendly staff and the room was very comfortable and of a style that you would see in a stately home. Breakfast was a bit limited but nevertheless there was enough food.
