We had travelled to Jennersdorf for a friend's 70th birthday celebrations so we were already familiar with the area and spent our time catching up with friends. Jennersdorf is a good base for exploring the southeast area of Austria which is pretty much unknown to British tourists. The area produces excellent white and red wines and there are plenty of vineyards to visit and sample the wares. There are also lots of castles to visit and thermal baths to enjoy.
