Absolutely beautiful property with a beautiful host who made us feel so welcome. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was soooooo comfortable. The sound of the river outside, just dreamy! We loved playing chess and drinking the delicious white wine that was available in the common area. We were also able to cook our own food in the HUGE kitchen. The mountain views from the bedroom was just the cherry on top of an amazing stay.

The apartment is closer to the market and it is at perfect place. i have enjoyed the mountain views from the window. We have booked for a smaller room , but the host granted the nice big room and also guided us all the sight seeing places. perfect place for sking. those who dont do ski see can enjoy the scenic places and kids and families can enjoy with ice sledge boards which are available for rental at hochalembahnen

This place is amazing! The apartment is located in the center of the small, quiet, and picturesque town of Rauris, just a short distance from several restaurants, a charming café with sweets (approximately 50–100 meters away), and the Billa shopping center, which is only 170 meters from the apartment. The apartment itself is stunning and equipped with everything you might need for a mountain getaway. It even features an open fireplace and a sauna! We loved our stay here. The place is fabulous and we were looked after so well by Caroline and family. Our bedroom was very comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievable - great choice and quality. We also had dinner and lunch there, which were equally as good. The surrounding area is amazing in all weather. We would love to return, and hope circumstances will allow. Thank you to everyone in the Karalm for a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

    Have been visiting Rauris for many years in both Winter and Summer and it never fails to deliver. It hasn't got the largest ski area but there are a good mix of runs and very little queueing for lifts. There are a good selection of places to eat and drink on the mountain as well as in the village itself with two decent size supermarkets. There are two ski schools of which we always use Adventure Ski Rauris as their prices are very reasonable and they have really nice staff from the girls on reception through to the ski/boot fitters and the instructors. A short drive away is the beautiful lakeside town of Zell Am See. Its not the rowdiest of villages but of you like a quieter resort this is the one for you.

    We loved this area. Especially trip to Glossglockner, Weisseee, Hollersbach, Mittersill indoor pool, Krimml waterfalls, Kitzlochklamm valley, Wildlife and adventure park in Ferleiten and Muzeum National park Worlds in Mittersill. We loved café Martin Kreuzer KG, Bäckerei. Using of public transport as part of Summer cards was really great...

    Lovely, pretty village, been regular visitors for some years. Great skiing for beginners and families. Good facilities and shops. Skiing faciltiies close to the village and great ski rental and instructors (Skischule Maier).

    Cute city, but lacks content.

    Cute city, but lacks content. We were there for skiing in the winter months. Ski area is pretty small, just a few slopes. The city itself is very small and cute, but boring. There is no events or activities except skiing whatsoever. It also lacks restaurants and cafes in the city and at the skiing grounds as well. There are 2 middle sized grocery stores which is ok. It has beautiful nature and is very peaceful and quiet.

    The village is rural and has a lovely rustic feel.

    The village is rural and has a lovely rustic feel. If you have beginners in the group you need to know that the main ski area is separated from the nursery slopes by a cable car ride. If the whole group can ski blue runs or higher this would not be a problem but if you have to meet beginners at the bottom you need to factor in time to get back there. The resort is on the small side but v. busy during school holidays. The ski schools are excellent.

    This resort was amazing for us.

    This resort was amazing for us. Great modern and clean apartments, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Spa and pool area were lovely with stunning views and resting areas. Great service and help at front desk. We came in may and it was quiet and just perfect for us

    I’ve been to Rauris 9 times now, so know the area very well but Rainberghof was the perfect location. We hired our skis (as we always do) from sport eggar, which is about 15 meters away. The walk over to the main gondola is also very close, probably only about 50 meters away. Rainbergerhof has its own warm boot and ski room so plenty of places to store your gear after a day on the slopes.

    Very nice hotel in a convinient location. The surroundings are really scenic, so just going out on the balcony of your room is a good experience. Philip welcomed me upon arrival and assisted me during the whole 3-day stay. Very kind attitude. Breakfast offers a good variety. The single bed room had everything I needed. A highly recommended place.
