Berrima was surprisingly quiet especially when compared to nearby Bowral. For instance, on a Sunday morning some of the cafes remained shut. The Pub is a great place for a meal and there were lots of cafes to have breakfast and coffee. We visited a local winery Artemis, about 10 minutes away and had a beautiful Pizza and Wine for lunch. Berrima is a small town with an array of eating places and enough attractions to keep one busy for a weekend or midweek visit. While the old gaol is now closed, there is still the historic courthouse and an excellent museum to visit.
