A very relaxing place to stay.

A very relaxing place to stay. I found it much pleasanter than Noosa which we visited as Caloundra was more chillled and cheaper. There are several beaches to choose from and a great coastal walkway to walk or bike on.

Caloundra is a great place to stay for young and old especially if you want a relaxing holiday. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of Mooloolaba or the Gold Coast but still has everything you need. Shops, restaurants and take away. Beautiful beaches, boats and water activities to hire and close to places like Australia Zoo and Aussie World. The cinema is in the main street too if you dont want to spend all your time at the beach. We love it and have been coming for 60 years.

The beaches and facilities are close.

The beaches and facilities are close. Nice kiddies play areas. Awesome walks on the beaches or along the esplanade. Very relaxing. As I don't like dining on my own there are some great takeout places and then plenty of places along the beach to sit and enjoy. Nice shops to go browsing along the beach fronts. Easy to get around.

Easily accessible beaches, lots of places to eat including the RSL, nice main street of shops, parks for children, quiet areas. If you have ocean view room you can watch the ships go by. Supermarkets and chain stores nearby if you need them.

Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Lovely area lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Recommend using public transport which was very good and much better than taking your own car. On our next visit we would definitely not book LaPromenade Apartments in Tay Avenue, Caloundra as the only good thing about our apartment was the view. Our apartment on second floor 204 had uncomfortable outdated seating in lounge and old rusty seating on balcony and apartment was dirty when we arrived. Problem with La Promenade is that all apartments are individually owned and the owners of our apartment had done no maintenance, other than buy a new electric frying pan. Bed was comfortable but the shower and shower base, taps and surroundings like tiles and skirting boards were dirty, dusty and lots of hair everywhere on the floor. I had to clean the shower, toilet and bathroom floor which took over two hours until I felt I could use the facility. There was a dirty cupboard in bathroom which was left open and full of dust seemed to have pipes in it. Management were notified of our concerns by email with photos but did nothing and had not checked our apartment prior to our arrival as they claimed they were busy and cleaner had been sick. We had to wait 7 days to get the rug in lounge room vacuumed. Otherwise we had a lovely holiday in Caloundra but happy to go home after two weeks.

Friendly staff, 4 bed dorm was laid out well so it didn't feel crammed. Ample storage space in the locker. Kind atmosphere and staff ensured that guests respected the "quiet time" after 10pm, which was considerate. The location is great, easy walk to Kings Beach and beyond, lots of cafes around and Coles/Kmart are across the road. Super convenient. Plenty of street parking (although on the very busy holiday that we visited, the street parking did fill up, it just seems like a rare issue). Friendly atmosphere.

Spacious + clean. Beautiful views + stunning sunrise +sunsets from the veranda with the sea opposite. Complete kitchen necessities + utensils. Comfortable beds. Lounge a bit dated but satisfactory Lovely walk to Kings Beach - Surf Club - Tavern + Kings Beach cafe + bar. Not too far to continue the walk to Bullock Beach. Short car commute to Caloundra - Mooloolaba + Maroochydore

Very friendly staff. Having an on site restaurant is handy, but not cheap. I was in the smallest available room, on the top floor (three storeys). Being on the top, and at the opposite end to the water park, was excellent - no noise at all at night and I slept well both nights. I liked having a window that actually opens (unlike many hotels) to get some fresh air.

This was the ideal location in Caloundra, right near the esplanade and close to the Events Centre. It was easy to walk everywhere from our apartment. Dealing with the staff prior to arrival was very easy and they were very accommodating as we had some accessibility requests. The view from the bedrooms and lounge area was so stunning, I did not want to leave.

Amazing location, big spacious home for me and my pet. Two minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops at Kings Beach. Ten minute walk and you are in the main street of Caloundra.
