Hard to make a full & fair review as there were major renovations going on. In fairness we were told about this a before we arrived but not when I originally booked.We had the option of cancelling but being school holidays there was nothing else available. The resort is in a fabulous position,near to shops & restaurants & with wonderful ocean views.Im sure it will be fabulous when the renovations are finished next year.Guest review byStephenAustralia - 10.0

A lovely long beach to swim or walk down.
A lovely long beach to swim or walk down. Lifeguards at several points on the beach and seemed very attentive. The beach was closed due to bad weather or rips for several days but guards were there to advise people. Beach across the road from shops and a camping ground also at the beach. It is a classic family holiday beach.
It is a classic family holiday beach. Unpretentious cafes, a great beach area, a good hotel, and a playground for the kids. The main shopping strip is about a 10-15-minute walk and features a supermarket at the northern end. An industrial estate in the backblocks of Coolum has some decent supplies for home cooking. Everything was nicely presented including the garden and we had everything we needed. The pool was sparkling clean but unfortunately it was too cold to swim. The property is within walking distance to Coolum beach and a Coles supermarket.
