    Attended a 50 birthday party in the area. Stayed at Victoria House overnight. Couldn’t have been happier. Ample space in our King room which had a separate sitting area. As the name suggested, room was furnished in this period style. If you are in the area suggest you stay at this privately owned property. Hosts Rob and Renee are most welcoming. John

    Our stay at this motel was most enjoyable! Pleasant hosts! Very clean comfortable & spacious room! No negatives for us! Definitely would recommend and stay again! Enjoyed a continental breakfast in the dining room too!

    I would have liked buffet hot breakfast included. At the time of 8.45 am we were told that there was some sort of maintenance going on, and shower was not working. Also TV didn’t show channel 12 Bold & we were wanting to watch the Moto GP. TV is to old to get this channel.

    Croydon is a clean, safe and leafy outer Melbourne suburb. A great place to live but not what I would consider a tourist destination. It is convenient to Mt Dandenong and the Yarra Valley wineries, but has no inherent tourist attraction in itself.

    I recently spent eight days in the one-bedroom apartment. This apartment was well set up, much like the online description. It ticked all of the right boxes with everything someone needs for a short stay in Croydon. It is relatively quiet even thought this particular apartment was the first one off busy Dorset Road.

    The place is still great to stay at but it is starting to age. It wasn't booked out even though the Hotel was busy. The rooms are comfy but the bed was a little old by feel. However, it is still one of the best showers to be had.
