Great place to visit, easy to get around, great places to eat, a very good selection for all tastes, shopping was fantastic, a cross between a quiet mini city and a large country town. The motel was straight across the road from the Dalby Leagues Club and Hungry Jacks which is handy for travellers. Dalby and its surrounds has a lot to see because it is in the middle of the Darling Downs where many of my ancestors came from. Good fish and chip shop two blocks down the main street (from Drayton Street). Has a Coles which is easy to walk to if you're in town. For kids, it has a Maccas, a KFC and Hungry Jacks. Dalby is a country town with wide roads and all the conveniences a traveller needs. There are lots of different 'expeditions' travellers can go on which are related to the development of agriculture and pastoral industries in the area.Guest review byCarol - 6.0
The town is small enough to walk through in an afternoon and...
The town is small enough to walk through in an afternoon and once off the main highway it is pleasant enough for a large regional centre however, Dalby is on the main western highway and is constantly under assault by large and I mean huge road trains some with three trailers driving through the town. You can hear them from everywhere. The main street has plenty of shopping and eating options, Golf course is nice and local sites are enough to keep you interested for a couple of days.Guest review byGeoffrey BolsterAustralia
