The views were fantastic and the owners were very friendly and accomodating. We were allowed to check in 1hr early and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the owners added one or two locally sourced small items like milk and tea to enhance the stay.

Peter the owner called us early and advised the guest house was ready and we could check in early if we would like to, the house was amazing both rooms had ensuite’s , this made our grandkids so excited to have their own toilet and shower. The owner took our grandkids frog sporting in the amazing gardens wt night and showed us the many frogs that lived there. The ability to have our dogs there was also amazing as one of our little dogs required surgery and it took the stress away knowing we could care for him there after his surgery . I rate everything a 10 location to everything within 20 minute drive, cold air conditioning, clean, swimming pool , we enjoyed our stay and plan on staying again. Thank you for your hospitality Peter, much appreciated

We recently stayed at one of Jander’s beautiful holiday homes in Maleny, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like a dream vacation. The house was absolutely stunning, and the welcoming basket filled with high-quality local products in the kitchen was such a thoughtful touch. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every room was spacious, comfortable, and meticulously designed with attention to detail. We truly appreciated how every aspect of the home was prepared with the guest’s comfort in mind, far exceeding our expectations.     We based ourselves at Brightside Landsborough. Breakfast in Landsborough - The Steaming Cup and 22 Cribb St French Patisserie - different but great breakfast at both - good service. We dined at the Landsborough Pub, The Terrace Seafood Maleny, Warrior Restaurant & Bar - All had at least one standout dish. Landsborough Pub - Lamb Shank & Pork Ribs; The Terrace Seafood - Fresh Oysters and The Terrace Surf & Turf - OMG - steak so tender and locally sourced; Warrior - Qld Tiger Prawn Bites - Citrus infused prawn meat, on a prawn cracker, native pepper berry aioli, salmon roe - bliss in a mouthful or two. Staff at The Terrace Seafood and Warrior were outstanding. We visited Maleny Botanical Gardens & Bird World - a definite must, definitely do the bird tour and hire a buggy for an hour to check out the gardens. Landsborough Museum - free entry and a step back in time - worth a visit! The Ginger Factory at Yandina - if you love ginger a definite must do - tour is informative and train ride is fun - plenty of ginger products to purchase. Plenty of places to visit within an hour's drive at most if you base yourself in Landsborough, we'll be back.

    Excellent stay. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful home in the most magnificent setting. Everything and more was catered for. Honor was helpful and informative. Very kind. I actually cried the morning we had to leave. Definitely could have stayed, much longer.

    The locals are friendly which makes a massive difference, it also has some little store including an IGA and bakery! Easy to get to from the airport by car or you can get a bus or taxi to the nearest station and get the train which has a stop near the iga and bakery. And Australia Zoo is only 5 mins from Landsborough. The drive back to the airport is smooth and it’s very easy to follow a navigator as well.

    An amazing stay all round!

    An amazing stay all round! Quiet, comfy beds and couches, abundance of freebies (body soap, shampoo and conditioner, cooking oil etc), wildlife watching, warm beds and fun (we enjoyed playing ping pong/table tennis)!

    Our stay at Landsborough Cottage was incredible! The cottage was very clean, accessing the keys was super easy, the kitchen facilities are great, and the property is so beautiful and peaceful. There were also childrens toys and books in a cupboard which was a fun find! Plus a high chair and toddler chair. Firewood is available for $10 and so we had a campfire each night which was lovely. My toddler loved watching the horses and kangaroos. The location is great - very close to Australia Zoo. I would highly recommend this property!

    Very relaxing place with wildlife at your doorstep, birdlife everywhere. The room is very private. There is a great selection for breakfast. Good shower and bathroom and a very comfortable bed all make this the perfect place to stay in this area. Location is great for exploring the Glasshouse Mountains which was our main interest. But there is so much more to see in the area that is easily accessible from Landsborough. The pub in town serves excellent dinners and Maleny, up the road a bit, has a lot of good places to eat as well.

    Attention to detail. Friendliness of welcome. Sweet as well as savoury biscuits. A selection of normal and herbal teas. Very nice shower products. Option to BBQ available. Seating inside as well as out. Very quiet and pretty surrounds with lots of kangaroos to keep us company. 5 mins drive to Landsborough. Ample and delicious breakfast .
