Perfect accommodation for a retreat, which was our motivation to get away from the kids and recover from a virus. Even though we got the suite without the direct view over the valley, the room has its own deck out the back where you can watch the sunrise in the morning from the bar table, and an outdoor bed to chill or read a book.

Only a few minutes out of Montville, but you feel like you are far, far away from the rest of the world. It's beautiful and so peaceful, and I felt like I could stay there forever. The view of the mini- lake, complete with lily pads and frogs, from the bedroom and living room was wonderful. Absolutely recommend 100% if you are looking for an escape. I think it's particularly suited to romantic escapes! The owner/ managers take excellent care of you without being even slightly intrusive. Hot, fresh baked croissants hung quietly and unobtrusively on your door every morning for breakfast! So many thoughtful little touches in the cottage, including a freshly laid fire ready to light! And you don't even notice other guests! I particularly loved how many birds were on the property, whipbirds, kookaburras, currawongs, butcher birds, frogmouths (I saw 4!) Yellow tailed black cockatoos, sulfer crested cockatoos, pale headed rosella, ibis, doves, ducks to name a few... It's perfectly located to explore the sunshine coast hinterland, but if you were so inclined you could never leave the property for your whole stay! Just a note for anyone trying to work on holiday, there's no wifi and certain mobile sim cards will drop in and out of service, just as they do in the whole hinterland area. I'm not putting this in the category of things I disliked because it was not important to me.

Alan was the perfect host and went above and beyond to welcome and familiarise us. He even offered to drive us to local restaurants so we could relax and have a couple of glasses of wine. Breakfast comprised beautiful fresh produce with freshly baked croissants delivered in the morning too. Spotlessly clean and lovely. I highly recommend The Falls Montville.

Absolutely gorgeous house, location and views. The house is well decorated and very functional. The bathroom has a huge bath and open shower with views to die for. Could easily accommodate 3x couples and a couple of kids on the sofa beds. Would be a fantastic weekend away. Cannot recommend this place enough! Absolutely amazing!!

I love the wonderful natural settings in and around...

I love the wonderful natural settings in and around montville and Maleny. We dipped in three separate rock pools with waterfalls during our stay. That's special! Gardners Falls, etc. Lovely bush walks through the National Parks, especially Booloumba Creek. Lots of different bird life, especially the songs of the bell and whip birds. We had great meals provided at our accommodation, Montville Country Cabins so we didn't eat out. We also took our own picnic basket and hamper so that we could enjoy more time in Nature. A car, preferably 4WD is essential to make the most of the area.

Beautiful views, friendly and helpful people especially cafe/restaurant/shop assistants. Easy to get around. Good for retail therapy. Was a trip down memory lane for me hence just driving around to Baroon Dam, Maleny - for a bit of retail therapy too, and surrounding areas was great. Did not make it to Kondalillia Falls unfortunately this time.

Montville is a lovely little locale with some great dining...

Montville is a lovely little locale with some great dining spots, art studios and natural elements to enjoy. We liked our brunch at Priscilla's Gallery and had yummy scones at Poet's Cafe. We also had some nice dinners in the Bar and Grill - good wines there too. We also enjoyed listening to the live music from the beer garden. Kondalilla and Gardner's Falls are worth the visit while you're here.

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast...

Montville is a gorgeous town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland .. I just love it and keep coming back. So close to everything - including beaches, shopping centres - yet far enough away to escape from the world! Cool winters, open fireplaces and autumn leaves make the place even more special.

Have been visiting Montville for a few years- the town is pretty with places to eat and stay but sadly it is getting old- footpaths are dangerous for the elderly-- empty shops everywhere and overpriced. Tourists will stop coming if prices increase and go elsewhere on the coast

Lovely town to visit with some quaint shops cafes & restaurants. Everything was in walking distance. Can highly recommend the Flame Hills vineyard which you will need car to get to & Kondalilla Falls.

Loved everything, location, facilities all of it. My jaw dropped when I first opened the door to our room as it was so stunning. The room is cosy and lovely robes are provided for you during your stay. It is a beautiful romantic setting and even though it is on the main street, you feel like you're a world away from everyone else. We booked this for our honeymoon and are so glad we did. Beds are so comfortable and everything is clean and gorgeous, the photos do not do it justice.

We stayed at Treetops Seaview Montville over Easter, and it was an excellent experience overall. We were blown away by the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. The vistas from our cabin were truly breathtaking, and we couldn't get enough of it. Inside the cabin, we especially loved the spa and cozy fireplace, which offered a great way to unwind after a day of exploring beautiful Montville. We loved every moment of our stay.

Who wouldn’t love a cabin in the middle of the rainforest. Listening to beautiful bird calls and the sound of a trickling a stream. Feeling like you are one with nature. The cabins are separated apart from each other with forrest between them leaving you feeling secluded. The owners are lovely. We have stayed at Montville Country Cabins for 4 Easter’s in a row now and plan to stay again next year.

We had a lovely time at Fletchers Ridge - Main House. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends. The view was amazing, the house was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and easy access to Montville shopping town. We'll definitely be back again.
