    The best thing about Moss Vale is that is close to Bowral (~10 mins by train or 20 mins by bus). Also the main XPT train line makes it accessible from Sydney, Canberra, and even Melbourne (9 hours..)

    The people in Moss Vale are very friendly.

    The people in Moss Vale are very friendly. We met a long-time local on our morning walk with whom we struck a conversation, and the lovely coffee shop staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Moss Vale has some lovely shops, the town is clean & well presented.

    Great location but carful what room you book.

    Great location but carful what room you book. Some rooms were renovated and nice with aircon and some rooms. Mine was horribly outdated, old bathroom, no heating, tiny room and very small tv Wifi did not work and I had no desk I could work from

    It's a nice town in a nice location, with a country feel and has attractions like golf, with wineries and mountain biking nearby. The food is good at multiple local restaurants and at some wineries.

    Moss Vale is in the centre of the southern tablelands.

    Moss Vale is in the centre of the southern tablelands. Lots to see and do We ate at Dormie House, Memorial Club and Bundanoon Easy to get around with car. I have relatives living in Moss Vale and Bowral and my mother was from Wingello so have been coming down this way all my life and I am now 75. The towns have all grown in a good way. Plenty of shops, eateries and antique shops. I will certainly be back

    Convenient location. Extremely small double room.

    Convenient location. Extremely small double room. More suited to a sole traveler. No elevator so difficulty climbing stairs with luggage. No bellboy. No air conditioner but had a fan. Room very dusty with only one opening window. The other window had a broken sash therefore couldn’t stay open. Paint hanging off wall. The room hadn’t been vacuumed before arrival as it had pieces of tissue on the floor next to bed. Staff pleasant, restaurant food quite nice with attentive server. Nice grounds but room shouldn’t have been offered until it had been renovated. Felt ripped off under the circumstances. Definitely not suitable for pensioners unless a ground floor room is offered.

    No meals were eaten at the hotel but we had drinks on the verandah. The stay was surprisingly peaceful given that The Argyle is a local bar. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Location was great and the off street car park was safe. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the water supply was plentiful and hot.

    Loved how funky the house was, our guests were all very impressed. It was such a cosy spot to all hang out, and great for photos!! The heating was amazing, as we were not prepared for how cold it gets in Moss Vale. Kitchen stocked with glasses and utensils. Would love to stay again :)

    Quaint building and cosy rooms. Next to a lovely park, and is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Moss Vale, which was perfect for us to be somewhere calm and beautiful. The restaurant on site is pretty good and the staff were nice.
