The main beach is beautiful, with a ramp for all abilities (and dog) access. Dogs are allowed on lead at the beach at specific times. The water and sand are clean. There are rockpools to explore at low tide. Smiths Beach General Store provides for basic provisions during the day. The different levels meant the kids could have their own space separate to the adults. We loved how all the spaces had plenty of seating, especially the big table on the deck where we dined most nights undercover but with a nice view looking out to the gum trees and distant fields. The location is amazing too as it’s in walking distance to Smiths Beach, whilst also being a quick drive to all attractions on Phillip Island such as the Penguin Parade, Seal Rock and the Koala Reserve. There were also plenty of nice places to relax - outdoors area and grass was lovely. Location was excellent - within 5 minutes to YCW and Smiths beach. Beds were comfortable and cooling easy to use.
