Woomelang is a small country town. It has silo art trail and a very old woolshed! Being located in the wheat belt of Victoria, in Nov, lots of paddock with golden field of crops. Its about 35 mins to Lake Tyrell viewing platform.

Woomelong is hamlet town in the Victorian wheat belt and well past its glory days but the townsfolk are rallying. There are some interesting mini silo artworks within walking distance of each other in the town and clean public toilets (all with a visitor's book!). It is a wheat town with the omnipresence of silos and a bulk grain train line. There are numerous picnic stops with seats and tables in the town - one with a barbeque (not sure if it works). There is a general sore that stocks the usual groceries and other supplies (including phone chargers and thumb drives). Worth a visit to experience a typical Wimmera/Mallee wheat town well away from confected tourist theme-parks.
