Well located in Stavele close to walks along the isoleer river / to hof van Commerce We were lucky with the sunny weather mid October, but even without the place would have been big enough to have a pleasant stay

A beautiful house, very great and lovingly furnished, everything was thought of. The hosts are very friendly and kind! The environment is also perfect, away from the noise of the cities you only hear nature and animals, just wonderful. There is a lot to do in the area with little effort. Visit beautiful small towns or reach great beaches in 20 minutes. Thank you for a great holiday!

Every detail was taken care of. Sandy could not have been a better host. I requested a 3pm check in as wanted to visit a local brewery before 6pm closing, and she made a dinner reservation at the pub next door. Breakfast was also great. Coffee excellent, fresh omelette and orange juice.

    Not sure we ever got into Alveringem itself but the...

    Not sure we ever got into Alveringem itself but the surrounding villages are lovely, roads empty (apart from the odd farm vehicle) and lots to explore - even if you aren't into the WW1 history. People are very friendly, lots of good food around if you are careful with what you order and you can usually get by speaking either English or basic French as most are multi-lingual. 50 minutes from Le Shuttle - a perfect destination for a short break.

    The hotel had spacious rooms with comfortable beds. There was a nice shower and because the kitchen was closed when we were there, we were given a lift to the sister hotel to eat. The breakfast was delicious with everything fresh esp the pastries and different breads. We were able to keep our cycles safely locked up in the garage overnight.

    Personal service from staff.. Convenient for Dunkerque port. Breakfast was fabulous. Only 4 guests do kitchen was closed for Dinner so Instead Thomas provided us a free taxi service to the sister hotel, which was also fabulous.

    Amazing building, check in was thorough and helpful, the restaurant was closed so they drove us to their other hotel and combined the bill. Great bar and patio area. Lift to the rooms and spacious rooms with nice views.
