Evergem was a great spot outside of the city.
Evergem was a great spot outside of the city. It avoids parking/ charges for cars which are in place. We walked to a local restaurant, La Bussola, and would recommend. The food was superb; really great mommas Italian style cooking and very reasonable value too. Our children really enjoyed. Brielken tram stop is free to park and just a 20 minute ride to the Castle in the centre (€3 per ride or bulk buy tram rides/City Card includes tram for free) From Sept 2025 this route from Brielken into the city will be closed for renovation but buses can be caught/drive to another tram line.Guest review byHannah JUnited Kingdom

Their take on renovating this train station is great. Decoration is on point. It’s comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. The self-check-in works great. Staff was very flexible when we showed up for breakfast but had forgotten to reserve before hand. They went out of their way to make sure we could eat everything on the menu like other guests.
