It’s a silent beautiful B&B. Clean and well maintained room with all facilities. They were generous enough to answer our question if we can check in a bit earlier. Also generous enough to give us a late breakfast since we slept late.     Oudennarde is a lovely town with a beautiful square in the centre. It's a great place to have a Belgian beer and watch the world go by. There are plenty of places to eat but Margarethas is by far the best. It might appear to be expensive but you get excellent food for your money. A walk by the river is recommended - especially on a sunny day. Additionally, Donk Lake is also a lovely place for a walk - or to watch the wake boarders. Unfortunately, it rained every day while we were there. A trip to Ghent is probably recommended if you spend more than two to three nights here.

    Perfect Belgium town to stay in.

    Perfect Belgium town to stay in. Easy to get around from the train, nice places to eat. Friendly people. I stayed for 6 days for the The Tour of Flanders and the Pro cycling races. A perfect location.

    Oudenaarde is an attractive town with some excellent places...

    Oudenaarde is an attractive town with some excellent places to eat - either in the centre or in the nearby villages. It's a great base for cycling enthusiasts - as there are iconic cobbled climbs and lovely quiet country roads. Having a beer in the centre of the town is recommended.

    Brilliant place to ride a bike.

    Brilliant place to ride a bike. Marked routes covering all the best cobbled climbs starting and finishing at the Centrum Ronde van Vlaanderen. For €4 you can buy a very good map there. Nice places to eat in the square.

    Oudenaarde is an excellent base for cyclists. Whether you have a road bike or a gravel bike, this is a fantastic area. The town is attractive - lovely square and excellent bars serving the best beers in the world.

    Steenhuyse is a magnificent hotel in the middle of a tranquil city. I've felt great bedded and had a lot of space. My room was equipped with a big bathtub and a lot of useful furnishings. The stuff was a bit reserved when my check-in took place, but was very friendly. I would recommend to book a room for two as minimum. When you're travelling alone the room is almost overwhelming but has a great appeal. Again any time.

    Nice little house in the centre of Oudenaarde. great location to cycle the hellengen. it has 2 bedrooms which are really comfortable. a nice little cycle room as you go in the front door. easy to reach free parking close by. great kitchen facilities. really close to the square and the local restaurants. simple entry into the property and the hosts were extremely good in terms of contact.

    The hotel is in a small street very near the market square and free parking was available nearby. We had a large room with ensuite toilet and shower. Toiletries were also provided. There was also a small fridge in the room and tea and coffee making facilities were available.
