Hotel is beautiful, the staff were friendly, excellent location, and room was great. Breakfast was also exceptionally good. Also loved the little touches like the chocolates in the room and the Aesop products in the bathroom!

Beautiful hotel with lovely and welcoming staff. Great views of Brussels over the Botanic Gardens. My room was spacious and the decor was fun. Pretty easy walk to Brussels Nord train station or public transportation.

My partner and I recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at The Stanhope. Under the leadership of the charismatic and professional manager, Frederic, the entire staff ensured that we felt warmly welcomed throughout our visit. The owners of the hotel, Gregory and Lien are gracious, friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance to the Halle town centre and a short bike ride to Komoot’s “Best of Flanders” cycle route (a.k.a. Vlaaderenroute). Safe overnight storage for our bikes was provided. Rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great. Hotel Hallensis is one of the nicest hotel stays on our bike tour thru Belgium.

Great staff, nothing seemed to be a problem for them. I got early check in and late checkout, the best breakfast service and always tidy room. The toiletries are wonderful and the entire concept with a Turkish sparkle was refreshing. I wanted to stay there forever.

    Room was stinking with some horrible smell &there was not...

    Room was stinking with some horrible smell &there was not enough tea or coffee in the tray. In bathroom there was no hand soap. I reported to the receptionist he gave another room but that was not done looked like someone was there as the bed was not done(clean) properly so I had to return the key and stay in the same room.

    The reception was so unprofessional and rude that all the other things are not anyhow important. It would be normal Ibis budget hotel for 6 points, but the "welcoming" procedure was unfotrunately not great at all. Breakfast is small but sufficient, though there was chaos because of too many guests.
